Lewis Hamilton takes his 69th Pole and 59th F1 win in a Mercedes one-two at Monza

After a rather uneventful Friday, Saturday saw lots of rain that made for a shortened Free Practice 3 and a delayed and eventful, electrifying, and exciting qualifying. Lewis Hamilton broke Michael Schumacher's record with his 69th pole position. Red Bull Racing drivers' Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo finished second and third fastest, but due to penalties, Lance Stroll became the Youngest driver to start a Grand Prix from the front row in history.

The race saw lots of penalties with a cumulative total reaching 150 positions, and only four cars starting from the position they actually qualified in.Lewis Hamilton went on to win his 59th F1 race and take the lead in the Drivers' Championship from Sebastian Vettel by three points.
