Red Bull Showrun Nashville
On October 14, 2023, and with over 30,000 enthusiastic fans in attendance, the Red Bull Showrun Nashville shut down and took over Lower Broadway with its inaugural event. The event featured a series of heart-pounding feats of precision driving and was headlined by Daniel Ricciardo, eight-time Grand Prix winner and active Formula 1 driver. Ricciardo took center stage and wowed the crowds with his prowess, recognizable driving style, and scorching burnouts that sent the crowd into a roar.
Ricciardo was not alone in delivering an unforgettable performance. He was joined by Rallycross Champion and former F1 driver Scott Speed and street freestyle motorcyclist Aaron Colton who defied gravity with his acrobatic-like skills on two wheels.
The weekend started with building the RB7 Showcar at Third Man Records, where the Oracle Red Bull Racing car performed its rendition of The White Stripe’s “Seven Nation Army” to commemorate the legendary space.
Red Bull further embraced the best of Nashville by converting local favorite Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row into Danny Ric’s Honky Tonk on Friday, Oct. 13. The one-night pop-up opened in conjunction with legendary Whiskey Jam. The main stage was adorned with images of industry icons and top charting country stars transformed into the man of the night, Daniel Ricciardo.
Ricciardo was later presented with a custom hand-painted guitar and cowboy boots painted by Igor Customs, who has previously worked with a plethora of Nashville based artists. He even ended his night with country karaoke on stage.
The atmosphere at the Red Bull Showrun Nashville was nothing short of electric, with surrounding fans displaying their passion for motorsport. The unique temporary track surrounded by Nashville’s iconic landmarks only added to the spectacle.
