Ayrton Senna - 30 years after Imola
May 1, 1994, witnessed one of the darkest weekends in Motorsport's history at Imola. The world lost two drivers: Austrian Roland Ratzenberger and Brazilian Ayrton Senna da Silva, who were born just a few months apart. Roland was in his rookie year in F1, driving for Simtek, while Ayrton was a three-time World Champion and already considered the best of his time.
Senna's passing had a profound impact on a sport that was forever changed by that weekend.
Here is a collection of posters gathered from the Internet, commemorating Ayrton Senna, an icon and a legend forever in our hearts.
