Visa Cash App RB F1 Team – Faenza Factory
Ever visited a Formula 1 factory? Let’s explore the Visa Cash App RB Formula 1 Team’s facility in Faenza, Italy.
Faenza, a city in the Emilia-Romagna region, is located about 50 kilometers (31 miles) southeast of Bologna. Nestled at the foot of the Apennine hills, it’s surrounded by vineyards, fertile market gardens, and traces of ancient Roman land divisions.
The Visa Cash App RB F1 Team originated as the Minardi F1 Team, founded by Giancarlo Minardi in 1979. Known as one of the last small, independent teams in Formula One, Minardi was acquired by Red Bull in 2005. The team has since been rebranded as Scuderia Toro Rosso (2006-2019), Scuderia AlphaTauri (2020-2023), and is now the RB Formula One Team.
In addition to their Faenza facility, VCARB operates a smaller site in Bicester, England, specializing in aerodynamics and concept design. To be closer to Red Bull Racing’s wind tunnel, they are constructing a new facility next to Red Bull’s Milton Keynes factory, set to open by the end of 2024.
Let’s take a look inside the Faenza factory in this special “Behind The Scenes” feature.
