FP3 - Hamilton heads Rosberg at Silverstone

Lewis Hamilton topped the third and final practice session ahead of qualifying this Saturday at Silverstone, ahead of Nico Rosberg and Kimi Raikkonen.

Rosberg and Hamilton exchanged fastest times early on, however another gearbox problem left the German with little running - he would though, be able to come out at the end of the session and finish second.

Ferrari remains closest to Mercedes with Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel coming third and fourth, however it was Toro Rosso again the most impressive, as Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz up in fifth and sixth.

Both Williams’s, Daniil Kvyat and Pastor Maldonado closed the leaderboard’s top ten.

With Qualifying next under sunny skies, can anyone really challenge Mercedes for pole? Don’t miss out on the action in two hours time.
